Raquel Kurpershoek presents an enchanting evening filled with Latin American sounds and poetry. With her dreamy voice, she presents her new album Bienaventurada, a musical ode to the poetry of Amado Nervo. An intimate and moving live experience where music, poetry, and emotion come together.

Raquel Kurpershoek Jaldón is a Dutch-Spanish singer and composer whose music forms a vibrant fusion of cultures. Fueled by flamenco, Latin American rhythms, and the stories of her traveling father, she creates a unique and captivating sound. Her work is characterized by cultural integration, social inclusion, and artistic innovation.

The album Bienaventurada – meaning ‘blessed’ or ‘blissful’ – explores loss as a source of strength and beauty. Partially recorded in Mexico, it is a musical ode to the poetry of Amado Nervo and a tribute to the power of emotion in music.

Raquel won the prestigious National Culture Prize of Spain and is a multiple prize winner, including of the Princess Christina Jazz Competition. In 2024, she received the National Youth Prize: Culture. She collaborated with the Orchestra of Córdoba. In an intimate quartet setting, she brings her emotional and virtuos virtuoso music to life.
