Ramblin’ with Loes
What happens when the Jazzy Entertainment Orchestra, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, takes the stage with one of our country’s most beloved theater personalities? An evening full of memories, surprises, and musical magic unfolds. The Ramblers take to the theater with none other than Loes Luca – actress, singer, and grande dame of Dutch theater.
Since the 80s, Loes Luca has been capturing hearts with unforgettable roles in theatre, television and films such as Het meisje met het rode haar, Mi Vida, Schaep met de 5 Pooten, Maud en Babs and, of course, Ja zuster, nee zuster. Naturally, the authentic Ramblers heritage is also present, with classics such as Wie is Loesje, Weet je nog wel, die avond in de regen and perhaps even a new process from Pietertje Swing…
Under the direction of trumpeter and composer Loet van der Lee, the 12-piece orchestra breathes new life into golden arrangements such as Strike Up The Band, Avalon and Farewell Blues. The repertoire includes classics such as Wie is Loesje and Weet je nog wel, die avond in de regen, but also fresh arrangements of hits from Ja zuster, nee zuster and ‘t Schaep met de 5 Pooten.
The Ramblers is the first radio orchestra in the Netherlands and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. For this, the orchestra even received a Royal Medal of Honour on 11 October!
