7 Vocale Acts – Live in Concert
An evening full of vocal surprises! On Monday evening, May 31, 2027, the Rabobank Hall of Theater Orpheus will be the setting for a special musical event: ‘7 Vocal Acts.’ Seven different vocal groups and pop choirs join forces for an evening full of variety, harmony, and musical enjoyment. All choirs and vocal acts of the evening are led by the well-known Apeldoorn choir conductor, arranger, songwriter, and musician Wilco Stronks.
The program takes you through a wide range of musical styles. From moving ballads and beautiful multi-part arrangements to symphonic pop, unforgettable 60s evergreens, swinging soul and disco hits, and contemporary pop music. Each act brings its own sound and character, making this concert evening a treat for every music lover.
Participating vocal groups and choirs
🎼 ADD9
An ambitious vocal group with challenging four-, five-, and six-part arrangements. From current pop songs to beautiful golden oldies.
🎵 Baby boomers
A feast of recognition with the most beautiful English-language music from the sixties and seventies. Nostalgia and musical craftsmanship go hand in hand.
🕺 FAME
An energetic soul and disco choir that brings the greatest hits from the seventies and eighties to life. Sitting still is not an option!
🎤 SOUNDS GOOD
The lively Nederpop & Rock Choir from Apeldoorn performs the most beautiful Dutch and English hits from Dutch soil.
💃 Knap Eigen Wijs
The enthusiastic women’s choir from Ugchelen presents a colorful repertoire of beloved evergreens and contemporary pop songs.
🎶 SWEET-FLOWER
A versatile choir with an international repertoire. From timeless evergreens to pop classics from the sixties, sung in Dutch, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Swedish, among others.
🎙️ IV Voices
IV Voices has been formed especially for this concert evening: a musical vocal quartet that makes a unique contribution to this evening with surprising arrangements and beautiful harmonies.
Live music and guest soloists
All performances are accompanied by a five-piece live band consisting of experienced top musicians from the Dutch theater world, namely: Andre van Damme (drums), Aaldert van Weelden (bass), Jeffrey Zuhdy (guitar & vocals), Olaf Windey (keyboards) & Juul Beerda (accordion & synthesizer). Their musical quality and versatility give every performance extra sparkle.
In addition, renowned guest soloists Lucie de Lange and Yolanda Tangelder will contribute to this special evening. Their voices provide extra color, emotion, and musical fireworks.
