After the overwhelming success of her debut Wildbloei – awarded the Neerlands Hoop and showered with five-star reviews – Valentina Tóth now presents Revue Revanche.
She sings about and explores the theme of revenge in all its facets. The wife of a tech mogul sings a murder ballad. An opera-singing Lolita refuses to be silenced. A French Bulldog stands up for its owner. A gynecologist becomes a pyromaniac. Ultimately arriving at her own body, which takes revenge in its own unique way.
‘Revenge is a dish best served cold’, but in Revue Revanche, the soup is eaten just as hot as it is served. Armed with her characteristic blend of opera, theatre, musical, comedy, social commentary and cabaret, Valentina leaves nothing standing.
About Valentina Tóth:
Valentina Tóth (1994) won both the jury and audience awards at the Amsterdams Kleinkunst Festival in 2022. De Volkskrant sealed her status as ‘the Comedy Talent of 2023’. Her first full-length show Wildbloei was awarded 5 stars by almost every newspaper. In 2024, she won the Neerlands Hoop, the prize for the most promising cabaret talent. In the summer of 2025, she performed successfully at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she won a Bragi Award.
