After 16 shows, Gilian de Vries finally knows what she wants — and that includes what she no longer wants. In edition 17, she reveals her feelings primarily through song, with socially critical songs that she has not previously shared with her audience.
Now that she has recently reached retirement age, she does not wish to look back too much, but rather look ahead.
