It is Christmas Eve at the Stahlbaum family’s. Clara receives a Nutcracker doll from her godfather. During the night, the doll transforms into a prince who takes her to a fairytale world full of adventure, tin soldiers, and the Wicked Mouse King. The classical-romantic ballet The Nutcracker is breathtaking. Young and old enjoy the beautiful scenery, stunning costumes, and wondrous dance moves. Together with Clara and an army of tin soldiers, you journey to the sickly sweet Kingdom of Sweets.
Grand performance
This masterpiece, first performed in 1892 in Saint Petersburg, is brought here by the State Opera of Stara Zagora from Bulgaria with an orchestra of 42 musicians and just as many dancers. Including the supporting crew for hair, make-up, and technical aspects, over 100 people are involved to deliver a magnificent performance for you.
