Dutch Classical Talent
Hadewych van Gent takes you on a musical journey where voice and cello meet as equal sound-makers. She discovers echoes of folk music from various countries and seeks new repertoire for this unique combination. An intimate listening experience in which it becomes palpable how we have our own roots, and yet belong together.
With her voice and cello, Dutch cellist and singer Hadewych van Gent creates her own distinctive sound world. As an adventurous and versatile musician, she moves along the edges of the classical tradition and beyond. At the age of 17, she made her solo debut at the Concertgebouw. Since then, she has performed in leading venues in Europe and South America. Hadewych collaborates with some of the most prominent young musicians of the moment and has been featured on albums by Decca and Sony. Finalist Dutch Classical Talent 2026/2027.
