Here, I am alone with You is not a traditional concert, but a compelling encounter at the intersection of music, performance, and visual art. In collaboration with visual artist Roel Weerdenburg, worlds emerge in which sound and image merge into a total experience.
With layered songs, poetic lyrics, and poignant visuals, LAKSHMI creates a cinematic experience in which you, as an audience member, are not only a spectator but also become a participant in a vulnerable, comforting, and sometimes confronting journey about love, loneliness, mortality, and connection.
LAKSHMI is a songwriter, singer, and theater maker. In her atmospheric electronic pop, she weaves themes such as activism, personal growth, and love into a layered, idiosyncratic musical world. Her fascination with various art forms is expressed in magical-realist music videos and compelling live shows, in which music and visuals reinforce each other.
Her distinctive voice floats over dark synthesizers and deep drums: seductive, intense, and elusive. As an ambassador for Plan International, LAKSHMI is committed to girls’ rights and climate justice. She connects art and activism and uses her work to raise awareness.
Since her debut in 2017, she has released multiple albums, performed on stages throughout Europe, participated in television programs, and performed at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Her third album will be released in the fall of 2026.
